My name is Vincent Tang-Słomian but everyone calls me Vinny and I am a Professional Makeup Artist & Hair Stylist based in Toronto.  After graduating with an Honours BA Degree from York University and a Business Certificate from Schulich School of Business, I obtained a Beauty Diploma from George Brown College in 2010.  Upon invitation, I completed the Val Garland Make-up Program by Mastered HQ in 2015.  I have received multiple awards in both makeup and hair categories and after winning 1st Place for Glamorous Evening Makeup at the 2012 Allied Beauty Association, I was selected by Messe Düsseldorf to represent Canada at the 2013 Beauty International Make-up Championships in Germany and finished in the Top 10. 

Since 2010 under approval from the Ontario Ministry of Training for Colleges and Universities, I also work as a Consulting Instructor, designing and teaching cosmetology courses at various schools registered as Private Career Colleges, most notably Bryan College of Applied Health & Business Sciences.  As a firm believer in continual education, I have attended National and International workshops offered by platform artists such as Eve Pearl, Gordon J. Smith, Josh Turi, Kabuki, Kevin James Bennet, Lan Nguyen-Grealis, Oribe, Roque Cozzette, Roshar, and Sam Villa.

I remain active as a self-employed and self-represented freelancer managing mobile services in addition to the retail and education facets of the industry.  I started out as a Demonstrator and Trainer for brands like Estée Lauder, GirLActik, Laura Mercier, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Stila, Yves Saint Laurent, and achieved several certifications working under MAC as a Makeup Artist, Product Specialist, VIVA Glam Ambassador, and Management.  In 2013, I joined the National CHANEL Makeup Team as a Studio Artist and currently represent the luxury house exclusively in Cosmetics, Skincare, and Fragrances.
